Audio Visual Room

Nasriyya School Audiovisual Room has a total seating capacity of 200 people. Fully air-conditioned and equipped with Wide Daylight Screen, Multi-media projector or LCD and 1 unit 32” colored television monitor hooked to CATV. The AV Room can be used for video showing and other projection activities. Sound system is also installed to facilitate various discussions. The computer and TV hardware in the AV Room is also directly connected to a LAN, internet and CATV.

The audio-visual room is equipped with overhead projectors, Smart board, multi-media, Internet access unit, television set, VHS, CD/VCD which are being used for students and School activities like classroom presentations, meetings, conferences and lectures.

Objectives

•          Teachers and students develop and enhance using information communication technology.
•          To develop professional development programs for teachers and other staffs by conducting seminars ’workshops.
•          Increase the ability to ICT in teachers’ for their teaching and learning.
•          Increase the knowledge , information and skills  to the teachers and students.
•          To help other community members to use Nasriyya school AVR.  

Rule and regulation of AVR

•          The AVR facilities and services are primarily intended to serve the needs of teachers and students to facilitate learning.
•          Other sectors of community can use facilities and services provided the written application is approved by the principle.
•          Eating and smoking is strictly prohibited.
•          Taking and roaming around should be minimizing during video presentation.
•          AVR use is scheduled on the first come first serve basis. Get written approval from principle or deputy principle at least 24 hours before it use. Application form is available from school office.
•          Teachers should preview materials they intend to use and evaluate its relevance and appropriateness to the subject matter.
•          Teachers concerned should be present at all times during the scheduled viewing of the classes. They are directly responsible for the behavior of their students in the AVR
• ·         In case damage concerned person should pay for the cost of repair or replacement of the damage material.
