About The  Center

It is located in the most southern atoll of Addu city in Hulhudhoo established in 2003 . It is a primary school Resource Center under running which is a government that are offering different services such as information technology , internet services and learning resources for teachers and students as well as parents and the community. There are 800 students , they are getting services and using resources from this center. The services are divided in to six sections. 

There are services  available in Library , Computer lab, Audio Visual Room , Teaching Aids Material Room, Music Room and Science Lab.

This Resource Center  got awarded the most successful and organised place among the entire school resource center in Maldives in 2012 and 2013

Main Objectives

Act as a collection , arrangements and storage and distribution point for various types of teaching equipment and materials ( printed and unprinted ) for the convenience of teachers and students to have access to and utilize:

• Improve the quality education in school.
• to develop students knowledge, skills and attitudes towards learning and promote intellectual, excellence and promote their lifelong learning.
• To give opportunities to all the students, teachers, parents and the community equally.
• To encourage students  active involvement in learning activities and self-learning.
• Assist the school co-curricular committee in using and integrating media( printed or unprinted) in the school curriculum to improve teaching and learning.
• serve as a collection and distribution point for all kinds of information and changes in education.
• Organize workshops and invite external speakers to give lectures or hold
